A little about myself:
I'm what you call an accomplished cook of Italian and Scandinavian descent. I've been around the food industry since I was a child and it seems now my daughter Wendy is following right in my footsteps.
My Parents owned a couple of restaurants while I was growing up. Both my parents were wonderful cooks; Father got more training from the Chefs he employed in his restaurants.
Paternal Grandmother was employed as a cook in the homes of Connecticut well to do families. My Mother-in-Law was also a wonderful cook. My Oldest Grandson is Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Graduate although he chooses not to work in the industry these days.
